OVERVIEW
Meike comes from the noble von Essen family. They used to be one of the richest families in Germany but after making bad business choices they lost all their money.
Hoping to become rich again, Meike’s parents want her to marry Walter Gerhardt, a successful businessman. Meike doesn’t like Walter—she barely knows him—but her mother is determined to make the marriage happen. Meike feels trapped and sees no way to escape.
It seems like she has no choice but to marry Walter who is cold and uncaring. But everything changes when, on their way to Walter’s home, their carriage is attacked by bandits in the forest. You may also be interested in the game Spear Song.
