OVERVIEW
despelote is a soccer game that is really about people. You see the world through the eyes of Julián an eight-year-old boy living in Quito Ecuador. Walk through the streets and parks, dribbling, passing, and kicking your soccer ball. Try kicking it toward’s someone and see what happens. As Ecuador gets closer to qualifying for the World Cup, the city starts to feel different.
It’s a touching sometimes dreamy story about growing up. You can explore the town at your own pace—there’s lots to see, do, and even cause a little trouble. The soccer ball moves in a way that feels natural and fun, and you play from a first-person view. You may also be interested in the game FREERIDE.
