You step into the shoes of a powerful being ruling a nation, aiming for godhood. Pretender Gods come in all flavors – from magical arch mages to colossal titans or giant monuments. What god do you choose and the nation do you rep? It totally affects your strengths and powers.

At the start of the game, it’s all about deciding what kind of god you are and how your Dominion impacts your lands, followers, and sacred soldiers. It’s basically your divine fingerprint, and if your dominion kicks the bucket, so do you. Plus, it pumps up your sacred warriors, giving them powers straight from your divine domain.

To be the one true god, you gotta take down your enemies – conquer their lands, wipe out their dominion, or claim the Thrones of Ascension. The game throws you into a fantasy world inspired by historical nations, cultures, and myths. No boring elves here – think vanir from old Norse myth, Aztecs, Romans, Israelites, Greeks, Kievan Rus, and even Lovecraftian Horrors. It’s a wild ride through a fantasy world like no other.
