OVERVIEW
Yo dude, check out Dystobel! It’s this rad metroidvania/platformer where you switch up powers like fire, ice, and electricity to dodge and block enemy attacks. You will be exploring this captive kingdom ruled by Lord Solomon finding cool stuff to boost your attack defense and health.
With these powers, you can even cancel out boss attacks trying to wreck your adventure. Switching between fire, ice, and electricity lets you counter enemy projectiles, but watch out—some baddies are immune to certain attacks. So, you gotta swap elements to deal the most damage while dodging their hits.
As you play, you’ll find life bottles to boost your max health and items to equip from the main menu. You can choose to be a glass cannon, doing tons of damage but taking hits like a boss, or be a tank, taking less damage but dealing out less pain. Or you could mix it up and find a balance between strength and defense! You may also be interested in the game Old Coin Pusher Friends 3.
I’ve hand-drawn all the graphics, sprites, and effects for the game. I’m not a pro animator or anything, but I’m putting in a mad effort to make it look smooth and cool. I hope you dig it (or get a kick out of it, haha).

- Once the download is complete, right-click the .zip file and choose “Extract to “Dystobel” (You’ll need 7-Zip, available here).
- Opengame, and run the exe application.
- Enjoy playing! Remember to run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs it contains.
