You can cast your line right from the beach, or if you’re feeling bold, take a boat out into deeper waters and chase after the big ones. There’s a bunch of gear to mess around with, and if you want, you can set up passive fishing—so you’re still reeling in rewards while you’re off exploring or just taking it easy.
Grab a casting rod if you want to launch your line way out and go after those deep-sea giants. When it comes to boats, you’ve got options. Maybe you start with a tiny dinghy, or maybe you upgrade to something faster, tougher, or roomy enough to haul a mountain of fish. Outposts let you trick out your boat even more, so before you know it, that little starter boat turns into a serious fishing rig you’ll be proud to captain.
