Yo dude check this out. Fran Bow is this super creepy adventure game where you play as Fran, a young girl who’s totally struggling with some messed-up mental stuff and a totally unfair fate, bro.

After her parents get, like, gruesomely murdered and dismembered at their place, Fran bolts into the woods with her only buddy, Mr. Midnight—the black cat her parents gave her.

In the forest, Fran totally loses it over her parents, and when she snaps back to reality, she’s stuck in Oswald Asylum, this messed-up mental institution for kids, and her cat is MIA. After dreaming about Mr. Midnight, Fran decides she’s gotta escape to find her cat and get back home to Aunt Grace, her only living relative.

The game is all about creepy psychological horror with some wild hand-drawn 2D art and animation, yo. You have gotta take your meds to uncover this freaky hidden world solve puzzles, and find stuff. You may also be interested in the game Espresso Tycoon.

There are a bunch of different puzzles with varying difficulty, plus three arcade-style mini-games with cool art to transition through the story. And, oh, you get to interact with Mr. Midnight, your pet cat, throughout. The game’s got over 50 unique characters and a sick original soundtrack, bro.
