HOPE: Winter Tale it’s a strange time of year. Some people look forward to it, but others feel nothing but darkness. They’ve stopped caring. That’s how it is for August. Every New Year feels the same—empty, dark, and spent with people he doesn’t care about.

August’s father is harsh and abusive. After August’s mother passed away, their relationship broke down completely. No matter how hard his father tried to fix things, it always ended in shouting and broken dishes. But maybe tonight, they can finally start to understand each other.
