Summer, man, it’s like everything’s popping with life. You got these lush green plants everywhere, and the sun’s making everything sparkle. Even the storm clouds look like they’re guarding some epic castle. But what really stands out is that endless blue sky, stretching on forever.

It’s a season that hits differently for kids and adults, you know? For kids, it is all about freedom and adventure. But for grown-ups, it’s just another part of the year, nothing too special.

And then, boom, six months later, these childhood pals, Ao and Hinori, reunite during New Year’s. They’re trying to ditch a boring family party when they stumble into this village called “Kakuriyo.” Turns out, it’s not your usual spot. It’s all about strict gender roles, and since Hinori looks kinda boyish, they think she’s a dude.

Now they’re stuck there until they figure out how to bounce, but there’s one major rule: no disguising your gender. Word is, if you break it, you’re in for some serious punishment. You may also be interested in the game Omega Mouse Zero.

Can they make it out of there in one piece? That is where you come in, making the big choices.

They are dealing with all sorts of stuff, like young love and the gods messing with their fate. And when they ask the Shrine Maiden for help, they get hit with a huge truth bomb: if they go back home, they might never see each other again.

So, they gotta decide: stay in this crazy village where time doesn’t seem to move or find a way to face the future apart.

And there’s a ton to explore in this village, with events happening left and right. You’ll get to know over 20 characters, all with their own stories to tell. Other than that, there are loads of scenes to check out, all voiced and ready to dive into.
