Manor Lords is like stepping into medieval times, where you get to be the big boss – a lord ruling over your own village. Start small and watch your village grow into a bustling city, managing resources and expanding through conquest.

Inspired by real history, Manor Lords keeps things legit with accurate details from the late 14th-century Franconia. No generic medieval stuff here – everything’s based on what really went down back then, making the whole game feel more real and colorful.

Forget grids – Manor Lords gives you total freedom to build however you want, just like real medieval towns. Spread out from a central marketplace, setting up homes, shops, and industry areas following the natural layout of the land.

Watch your village come to life as residents build their own homes, following the burgage plot system. Other than that, they will even grow veggies and raise animals to help keep the town running. You may also be interested in the game Jack Holmes Master Of Puppets.

Every season brings new challenges, from spring rains to winter snow. And with a bunch of goods to produce – from boots to barley – you’ll need to keep your people happy while also making trade goods to sell.

But watch out for the environment – unchecked expansion can mess things up, like driving away wildlife or messing up soil fertility.

Trade with traveling merchants to bring in extra cash, upgrade your village, and fill your own pockets with taxes. But remember, you’re not alone out there – other lords want what you have, so be ready to defend your turf.

When it comes to battles, it’s not just about numbers – strategy matters. Train up your warriors, lead them into battle, and use your smarts to outmaneuver the enemy.

But war has consequences – every soldier lost is a person from your city, so think carefully before sending them into battle.

5. Enjoy playing! Remember to run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs it contains.
