Yo, dude, you’re like totally the boss of this huge empire, with the world practically at your feet. Your hands are holding all the feelings, hopes, and lives of everyone in your nation, and everyone’s looking at you like their ruler, bro.

You’re Emperor Hong, the big deal Emperor of the Crimson Empire, and life’s been super rough. After losing your mom, who used to run things, you also lost your Empress, who you were totally into.

Now you’re stuck and gotta call up these Yaoguai, forbidden but mega-powerful creatures from the north who are kinda into human souls. You need their help to handle imperial stuff get things done, and look out for your people.

You’re not the only ruler out there, so you gotta juggle your people’s needs with your dealings with other rulers if you want your empire to grow. But, when your empire hits its peak, you’ve got a choice, bro—either chill with everything you’ve built or use the Yaoguai to wreck your empire and sacrifice everyone to bring back your Empress. You may also be interested in the game Wowo Island.

It’s this wild mix of managing your empire, East and Southeast Asian mythology, and empire sim stuff. You can summon Yaoguai to help out, each with their own traits and skills. Build up relationships with them to make them solid allies or, like, powerful sacrifices. Work with other rulers to hit your goals or go a different route with them.

The gameplay is all about how your choices shape the story, and the soundtrack is lit, inspired by this fantasy world. Plus, the art’s this sick blend of 2D and 3D with an Asian ink-brush style.
