OVERVIEW
Of Ash and Steel has a tough but satisfying combat system. You don’t start as a powerful hero or monster hunter. Instead, you have to learn how the game works—managing your stamina, timing your attacks and parries, and figuring out which fighting stance and weapon type you like the most. It takes patience and practice, but as you keep playing, both you and the main character, Tristan, grow stronger and understand the world better.
You get to defend yourself using different weapons, skills, and even the environment around you. You can shape your fighting style however you want. You can be fast and quick with a rapier, strong and heavy like a knight in armour, or mix things together to create your own style.
