A long time ago, a disaster called the Calamity wiped out a thriving civilization. People managed to rebuild, but only with the Church leading the way. The holy scriptures claim the Calamity was the gods’ punishment, and just talking about what really happened is strictly off-limits now.

But things haven’t stayed peaceful. Strange disasters keep happening, and terrifying monsters roam the countryside. The world’s slipping back into chaos, and nobody can pretend otherwise for much longer. One stormy night, Tasia—a young noblewoman—stumbles across a cave that’s been untouched for ages. Deep inside, she’s about to dig up old secrets the world was never meant to see, and the truth behind the Calamity that everyone’s been forced to forget.
