Yo dude, welcome to Scourge of War! Hope you are pumped for some epic battles bro. This game pushes you into charge of armies and lets you relive those crazy historical fights from the regimental warfare days.

It’s a real-time command simulation, kinda like how Sid Meier kicked off this genre with his legendary Sid Meier’s Gettysburg back in ’97. That game was a game-changer, ditching the old hex grid and dice rolls for a 3D battlefield where everything happened in real-time. No turns, just pure action.

After that, Sid Meier dropped Antietam in ’98, bringing in more intense battles and tricky terrain. Then came Breakaway Games with Waterloo: Napoleon’s Last Battle in 2001 and the epic Austerlitz in 2002. Fast forward to 2005, Mad Minute Games dropped Civil War: Bull Run, which was like a new-gen update with smarter AI and insane historical detail.

They followed it up with Take Command: 2nd Manassas in ’06, packing in even more epic battles and winning awards for its accuracy. You may also be interested in the game The Corpsmen.

Now, we’re bringing back the Scourge of War series, redoing Gettysburg and Waterloo with a fresh look. We have polished up the graphics upgraded the AI and added some sweet new features.

You can now face off against human opponents worldwide or tackle the upgraded AI. So buddy, get your gear ready, and get set to dive into these legendary battles.

2. Wait for 5 seconds and then click the blue ‘download now’ button to start the download.
3. Once the download is complete, right-click the .zip file and choose “Extract to”Scourge Of War – Remastered” (You’ll need 7-Zip, available here).
4. Open the game, and run the exe application.
5. Enjoy playing! Remember to run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs it contains.
