OVERVIEW
You play as Seth, the god of the desert, out to take down Apophis. The game throws you straight into the action—it’s fast-paced, part shooter, part roguelike. Waves of tough enemies keep coming, with big bosses waiting at the end. You pick your weapons, you fight as hard as you can, and if you die, you get right back in and give it another shot.
Combat feels risky in a good way. There’s a shield system that actually rewards you for getting up close and taking chances. Drop an enemy, grab their soul, and your shield gets refilled—that’s how you survive the nastier hits. You have to keep moving and stay aggressive. The arsenal’s wild too, with guns that slow down time or let you swing across the battlefield with a grappling hook. It keeps the fighting fresh and always a little chaotic.
