SKALD: Against the Black Priory is like those old-school RPGs but with modern twists and awesome storytelling, all wrapped up in sick 8-bit graphics. Dive into this dark fantasy world packed with scary creatures, tragic heroes and some serious Lovecraftian vibes for an epic retro style adventure full of exploring and turn-based battles.

Think you’ve got what it takes to lead a squad of messed-up heroes from the cursed shores of Idra to the gates of the Black Priory and beyond? Lead your team through tough turn-based combat, slicing, blasting, or sneaking past all kinds of nasty enemies. Gear up your heroes with a modern inventory system, complete quests, read journals to find secrets, and if things get too crazy, use auto-resolve to skip the fights entirely.

Get ready for the adventure by creating and preparing a variety of original meals. Pick your character and their stats then build a party from a diverse group of allies, each with their own skills, goals, and personality.
