Yo dude check this out. “The Compass and the Sand” is a seriously tough mystery puzzle game where you play as this girl Ann who’s been totally exiled by the compass. Your mission, bro is to crack the secrets of this exile land get that compass working, and bounce outta there.

Imagine exile like this endless river, sending Ann to some far-off, totally unknown place. But yo, she’s got this fire inside her, knowing Sam or SU might come looking for her someday. But before that happens, she’s gotta figure out how to escape.

You can switch up your view between first-person and third-person, which is kinda cool. Since this game was made by just one dude, the hints are pretty weak. But that’s cool, ’cause it’s all about solving puzzles—no deductions needed, just pure brainpower.

Abnormal1999 is a series of indie games from QZQ Studio set in a sci-fi world with quantum mechanics and multiverse vibes. It has exploration, horror, puzzles, and reasoning.

The main girl in the series is SU. She’s got this wild ability to travel through the fourth dimension and wants to figure out what’s going on and get back home. Along the way, she jumps through different times and spaces in parallel universes meeting all sorts of people and facing various twists.

The series updates monthly with a new episode dropping each time to continue SU’s story and adventures. “The Compass and the Sand” is the sixth episode of the first season. The earlier episodes are “Within the Obscurity,” “Apartment of Death,” “SU,” “Hyperspace,” and “Sector49.”
