When you arrive in Gold River, it seems peaceful. You can go alone or bring up to four friends. A little plane drops you off by these stunning lakes. You can paddle a kayak, wander the trails, and set up camp—honestly, at first, it all feels like a regular outdoors trip. But it doesn’t take long before you sense something’s off.
