OVERVIEW

Yo dude listen up! So, you’re gonna be working at this local church, right? Your gig is to dig up graves and grab any cool stuff you find. One night, while you’re digging, you hit on some burnt bones that are buried with a body. Kinda sketchy, but you just keep at it.

Later, when you crash for the night, a spooky vibe tells you those burnt bones are linked to a demonic presence at the church, and it’s totally pissed off and wants its bones back. Plus, you’re told to drop any interesting finds on the altar for the reverend.

So here’s the deal: You gotta dig up 3 graves each night to get your sleep and start fresh the next day. To win, you need to dig up 6 burnt bones and stash them in the mausoleum or on the altar. Every grave you dig has valuables to loot, which you dump in a box for the reverend to sell. Your share of the loot will be handed to you the next morning.

Sometimes, graves will have secret compartments that need a lockpick to open, which you can snag from the Paranormal Pantry (that’s like an in-game shop). You’ll need to save up cash to buy stuff from there to fend off the demon and boost your skills. You may also be interested in the game In Woods.

But here is the kicker: The demon messes with the church making parts of it corrupt. Corruption makes the demon stronger, and if it gets too powerful, it can totally kill you. You gotta deal with corruption quickly using items from the Paranormal Pantry.

After digging up 3 graves, you can hit the sack. Sleeping resets the night and you get paid for your digs, but the demon grows stronger each night. You decide whether to dig for just loot or to hunt for those burnt bones. There are up to 72 grave sites, so you’ll need items from the Paranormal Pantry and clues to figure out which graves hold the bones.

Oh, and saving is only for the Standard Difficulty. If you get killed, your save is wiped and you have to start over. You can pick from Standard, Hard, or Nightmare modes.

Collect all the burnt bones to stop the demon and win. Solve puzzles and clues to find out which graves to dig. Finish the main story and side quests to unlock both endings. Dig, loot, and protect the church, dude!
