OVERVIEW
The Last Case of John Morley throws you straight into a gritty, shadowy world right out of the 1940s. You’re John Morley, a detective who’s just crawled back from months in the hospital after his last job almost killed him. The day he finally returns to his office, Lady Margaret Fordside walks in. She’s an English countess, haunted by her past.
She wants Morley to look into her daughter’s murder. That happened twenty years ago, but the pain’s still fresh for her. The police pinned it on the wrong people just to wrap things up, but she’s sure the real killer slipped away. What starts off as a routine investigation turns into something much stranger—a dive into old ruins, dark secrets, and stories that probably should’ve stayed buried.
