So, when the emperor drops a national mandate, an enemy state invades, or there’s beef between factions messing with your city’s growth, what’s your game plan? Your choices could totally change history, dude.

In Story Mode, you’ll live through the ups and downs of the Song dynasty. It’s like diving into a history book, but way cooler. Everything’s super detailed, from the buildings and industries to the clothes people wear, all based on museum stuff and historical records.

Yo, the game’s got this rad traditional Chinese art style with intricate animations for buildings and characters. Plan your city right, build economic buildings, and create a thriving city everyone loves. Set up spice shops, inns, taverns, brothels, and other fun spots to draw in more residents and tourists.

You’ll also need academic research, student education, and students passing the Imperial Exam to boost your city’s rep and income. But dude, peace doesn’t last forever. As your city grows, build a prison to deal with robbers, arsonists, and murderers. Protect your city with walls, and archer towers, and train militias and archers.

As the big boss mayor, keep an eye on city accounts and plan for each year. You can enact policies to make governance smoother, but watch out—some policies might boost production but mess with your people’s lives. So, buddy, what’s your move gonna be?
