Two Falls (or Nishu Takuatshina) is a super immersive first-person game that hits you with these crazy contrasting stories. You’re stuck in the wild Canadian wilderness in the 1600s, and you play as two characters—Jeanne, a French princess totally stranded, way out in the middle of nowhere, and Maikan, an Innu hunter who's trying to figure out what's messing with the forest that’s been his family's land forever.
It’s a linear game, but the way the story switches between these two makes it way more intense. You’ve gotta make choices that actually matter, and no lie, some of those decisions really hit deep—like, they’re gonna change how things play out, for better or worse. The wilderness is rough as hell and you are constantly up against danger. You’re not just surviving—you’re trying to understand two different worlds colliding in this brutal, ancient landscape. The whole thing feels pretty raw and real especially with the French settlers and Indigenous struggles happening at the same time. It’s gonna get emotional, for real.
