Take your UBOAT experience further with the Type IX: Distant Coasts DLC. This expansion brings the Type IX U-boat into the game, opening up new strategies and more ways to play. You get to explore remote war zones and take on tougher, more demanding missions.
The DLC offers several versions of the submarine. The Type IXA is the original—available from 1939—which handles long-haul missions with just the basics. The Type IXC steps things up; it carries more fuel, so you can go farther and stay out longer. Plus, its tower is better designed. If you want the best, go for the Type IXC/40. It has the longest range, dives faster, and packs stronger protection to help you survive even the harshest situations. You may also be interested in the game Oceaneers.

- Once the download is complete, right-click the .zip file and choose “Extract to”UBOAT – Type IX: Distant Coasts” (You’ll need 7-Zip, available here).
- Open the game, and run the exe application.
- Enjoy playing! Remember to run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs it contains.
