So, in this game, bro, you’re basically point-and-clicking your way through stuff. You can either chat to move the story along or start some combat sequences you gotta deal with.
The combat is 2D and there’s like a ton of different sequences—over 10 of them, dude. You gotta get the hang of the controls to escape each one. For instance, you gotta dodge close attacks by moving in the right direction, and for head-on attacks, timing is key to fend them off. You’ll face two types of encounters: mini-bosses and bosses. Mini-bosses trap you in a room and you gotta heal up fast before they attack again. Bosses are a bit chill, you can run between rooms to heal and set up traps or use point-and-click stuff to weaken them.
There’s some resource management too, where you’ll get hurt in the fast fights. Just find a safe spot, chill out, listen to your heartbeat, and heal up enough to keep going.
You will also unlock minigames that have their own little stories giving you a peek into what is going on with the characters. And, dude, don’t forget the poems! There are over 70 scattered around, each with its own vibe and style.
You’ll meet a bunch of characters, each with their own stories and reasons for being there. Plus, the soundtrack is lit—around 77 tracks to make the whole experience epic and memorable.
