They’re starting an apprenticeship as a carpenter, meeting a bunch of new, complicated buddies, and dealing with a town that’s got its own crazy vibes. But they’re gonna make it, just like all the other quirky folks who ended up on the island of Elk. That’s how life rolls across the water, man.

Frigg’s about to dive into some wild adventures—checking out all the cool spots on this old island, hanging with its old-school peeps, and facing some tough choices and heartache that’ll stick with them forever. Whether it’s playing cards for candy, splashing around at the beach, or just kicking back and listening to a good story, Elk is gonna be a ride Frigg will remember for life.

The tales in “Welcome to Elk” come from people who were there or who know what went down. They’re all based on real stuff but get mixed up and changed to keep the real folks behind them on the down low. So, we call them tall tales. It’s not like true crime where everything’s spot-on; these stories are twisted and combined into one big narrative.
