OVERVIEW
The year is 1986. You are David Sugimoto, who grew up in South Bend, Indiana. A family friend helps you get your first job in Japan at a company called Matsuzawa Manufacturing. Japans economy is doing great. They want young smart and hardworking people like you. You’re ready to live the exciting life of a businessperson in the 1980s—maybe even travel the world!
You were told you’d be working with the international sales team, but when you arrive at your new job, it’s not a fancy office. Instead, you’re sent to one of Matsuzawa’s old factories outside Tokyo. Right away, you’re given the tough job of designing automatic production lines. Can you handle the pressure and survive as a beginner in the exciting world of factory automation?
