OVERVIEW
Detective Jack Foster’s back on the force after a rough patch, hoping for an easy case. No such luck. What starts as a quiet bit of political blackmail gets ugly fast—a brutal ritual murder behind a locked door, the kind no one should’ve been able to get in or out of. Jack’s new partner, Harvey Whitman, isn’t just another cop. He’s got a weirdly deep knowledge of cults, which turns out to be exactly what they need.
They start digging through Arkham’s shadowy corners, and it doesn’t take long before things spiral out of control. Turns out, the murder ties back to three witches who slipped away from the Salem trials in 1693. And that’s not even the worst of it—they stumble onto a secret plan that threatens to wipe out everything. Now Jack and Harvey are racing the clock, trying to shut it all down before the world burns.
