OVERVIEW
Rise from Ruin drops you into the shattered worlds of Age of Wonders 4, where you get to build your own kingdom on the bones of lands wrecked by ancient magic. You’ll wander through these desolate places—yeah, the Withered Worlds—digging up lost spells and deciding what to do with all that dangerous power. Maybe you’ll destroy it, maybe you’ll use it to make yourself even stronger. That’s up to you.
This expansion also brings in the Nomads, a brand-new culture. Think of them as wanderers who never stay in one place for long—their cities actually move with them. They survive by grabbing magical resources wherever they can and always staying on the move. You get to choose how you’ll play: become a Conqueror, storming through enemy lands and claiming them for your own, or go the Scavenger route, scouring old ruins and battlefields for hidden treasures and lost power.
