OVERVIEW
Blossom is the work of a solo developer named Thorin, who goes by Pebbledust Games. He built the whole thing himself, drawing inspiration from the old-school games he grew up with. Those games didn’t hold your hand—you had to figure things out by messing around, paying attention, and just slowly picking up how everything fit together. That’s the vibe Blossom goes for, but it’s wrapped up in a peaceful survival game where your big mission is to revive a dead planet.
You kick things off by clearing away the fog and bumping up the pressure until ice forms. Next, you warm things up to melt that ice and get water flowing. Then, you turn dust into soil, and before long, you’re growing algae and watching the planet get a bit greener. As things progress, you plant flowers and trees, start making oxygen, and little by little, the sky shifts to a brighter blue. The better the planet gets, the more you can do—grow forests, build new biomes, and eventually, bring in insects, birds, and animals to make the world feel alive again. - Open the game, and run the exe application.
- Enjoy playing! Remember to run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs it contains.
