Mortal Kombat 1 throws you into a fresh universe shaped by Fire God Liu Kang. At first, things look pretty familiar, but a lot has changed under the surface. One of the big shake-ups? Kameo fighters. They jump in and back you up mid-fight, pulling off special attacks, throws, or even stepping in to block for you.
If you like playing solo, there’s a mode called Invasions. Here, you take on all kinds of challenges, earning loot and getting tougher as you go thanks to RPG-style upgrades.
