OVERVIEW

Artificial Extinction 2 throws you into a world where powerful AI run the show, and you’re not just trying to survive—you’re doing it with a mix of brains and firepower. It’s part tower defense, part first-person shooter, and all about juggling resource gathering, building up your defenses, and holding off endless enemy waves. The battlefield only gets tougher as you go, so you can’t just pick one approach and stick with it.

You play as a sentient AI commander, switching whenever you want between high-level strategy and direct action. In RTS mode, you’re building structures, expanding your base, and upgrading defenses, trying to stay one step ahead. When things get heated, you drop right into the FPS mode—taking the fight into your own hands and facing off with enemies head-on. If you want to survive and actually win, you’ll need to blend sharp tactical moves with quick reflexes. The game doesn’t let up, and neither can you.
