OVERVIEW
Fighting Force and its sequel, Fighting Force 2, are making a comeback on PlayStation®1. The first game dropped in 1997 and quickly became a classic beat ’em up. You get to pick from four characters—Hawk Manson, Mace Daniels, Alana McKendricks, or Ben “Smasher” Johnson. Your main goal? Take down the villain, Dr. Dex Zeng. Each character brings their own special abilities, and you can team up with a friend or go solo. The action stretches across seven huge levels with 22 stages, and you can grab all sorts of weapons—think rocket launchers, shotguns, pipes, pistols, even grenades—to help you smash your way through.
Then there’s Fighting Force 2, which landed in 1999. This time, you’re back as Hawk Manson. He’s undercover, digging into the shady Knackmiche Corporation, which is up to some pretty wild stuff with human cloning. The sequel cranks up the intensity, throwing you into even fiercer battles and a story that never really lets up. You may also be interested in the game The Gold River Project.
