OVERVIEW
Boom The battlefield just got a whole lot deadlier. Exploding Ants introduces two powerful new species to Empires of the Undergrowth one for termites and one for ants. These creatures come with autothysis a brutal ability to self destruct dealing massive damage to enemies in a last ditch effort to defend the colony. Whether you are testing them in Free play Remix Mode or unlocking them in Story Mode these new units bring explosive strategy to your arsenal.
The C. explodens ants hail from Southeast Asia, with regular soldiers capable of chain explosions, slowing enemies, or leaving toxic pools behind. Their major soldiers, meanwhile, take reduced damage and boost nearby allies when they hunker down. On the termite side, the N. taracua species brings a soldier that stuns enemies with asymmetric snapping, plus workers that explode more violently the longer they live. Upgrade wisely will you build an endless army of walking bombs or hold off for the perfect detonation?
Two new campaign inspired levels put your skills to the test eradicate fire ants in The Harvest and fight for survival in the rainforests of Front Line.
