Yo dude, check out The Gold Project—it’s this sick 2D pixel-art game in a creepy fantasy world. You can choose to roll with the Gods of Light and Shadow or the shady ones like Corruption and Gold! Your decisions totally change how you level up and what powers you get.
The art is killer making every run feel fresh as you explore both paths. You play as Kali, this fighter on a mission in the City of Gold where this greedy god, Salluste, is causing chaos. You gotta pick sides or go rogue facing off against epic bosses and tons of unique monsters.
There are two separate worlds depending on whose team you’re on—The Path of Gold or The Path of Light—each with a massive skill tree and over 50 abilities! Controls are easy but mastering them ain’t no joke. The combat’s pixel-perfect, and the platforming’s smooth as butter. You may also be interested in the game Pet Shop Simulator.
Oh, and the soundtrack by Sarys and Xavier Dang is epic; it changes up based on who you side with, adding to the vibe big time. In addition, the story is deep, with hidden lore and different endings to uncover. And hey, they even swapped out spiders ’cause they know not everyone’s cool with them—a smart move, bro.
