OVERVIEW

Created by Manfred Trenz, the mind behind the Turrican series, and published by German studio Rainbow Arts, this game first launched in 1995. It was originally planned for a Western release as Targa, but in the end, it became a Japan-exclusive title. With only 10,000 copies ever made it remains one of the rarest and most sought-after retro games.

You play as Double R, a special forces soldier known as the Rendering Ranger, tasked with defending Earth from a massive alien invasion. Fight through nine intense levels, featuring both action-packed platforming and high-speed horizontal shooter stages.
