OVERVIEW

So, back in the day of Chongzhen’s Reign, things were totally whack. Land grabbin‘ was off the charts, there were probs everywhere, and even foreign peeps were coming in to mess stuff up. And just to top it off, there was this mega-freeze called the Little Ice Age making life even harder.

Amidst all that chaos, the Ming rulers kept layin’ down these brutal rules, which led to a massive famine and tons of folks rebelling against the big shots.

Now, there’s this dude named Liang, a bit of a shady character, and his buddy Tongue. They get hired to do a sketchy job by this dodgy merchant: escorting four girls to some rich dude in Luoyang. They gotta pass through a bunch of towns to get there.

At first, Liang thinks they’re just takin’ the girls to be like adopted or somethin‘. But then, one of the girls spills the beans: the rich dude is actually a demon who eats young girls for his birthday bash! Sui, one of the girls, wants Liang to help her take down this creep and avenge her sis and all the other victims. You may also be interested in the game April 24th.

But here’s the twist: Sui might not be tellin‘ the whole truth. Liang’s gotta figure out what’s real and what’s BS as they journey together.

You play as Liang, a dude who used to have it all until a big explosion wrecked his life. Now he’s a bandit, takin’ what he can to survive.

Then there’s Sui, a mute kid with a vendetta against the demon. But who knows if she’s keepin’ secrets?

And don’t forget Tongue, Liang’s partner in crime, who’s all about the money.

Along the way, they meet all sorts of peeps with their own stories, like the girls they’re escortin‘ and Liang’s old innkeeper pal.

Oh, and there’s this rebel leader causing a stir in Jin, claimin’ to be the “Dashing King.”

It’s a wild ride with different endings depending on the choices you make. But don’t expect any pats on the back for doin’ good deeds during wartime. Liang’s gotta own up to his past and face the music.
